Tips for a QR code that scans
- Contrast: dark dots on a light background. Inverted colors (light dots on dark) fail on some scanners.
- Size: at least 2 × 2 cm in print. Scale with distance: roughly distance ÷ 10 (a poster read from 3 m needs 30 cm).
- Quiet zone: leave empty space around the code; don't let frames or text touch it.
- Short content: shorter content means a sparser code that scans faster. Don't bloat links with unnecessary UTM tags.
- Logo: keep the logo under 30% of the code and error correction at H.
- Test: try several phones before printing. The tool's "Scannable" badge is a first check.
